Bonneville is Black Horse Racing's other proving ground — the same team behind our Peking to Paris Speedsters. The Salt Flats are the one place on earth where a car, and everything wrapped around it, is held at absolute maximum mile after mile, with no forgiveness for a single weak part.
THE RECORD
275 mph on the measured mile.
The result was a run topping 275 miles per hour — a land-speed record on the salt. Getting there means an engine and driveline built to survive sustained, wide-open load: the block, rotating assembly, cooling, and aerodynamics all working in concert when there is zero margin for error.
THE DISCIPLINE

Building a machine that lives through a Bonneville run takes the same obsessive, no-shortcuts discipline we bring to a concours restoration — the only difference is what happens if you get it wrong. It's also proof of what we can do with an engine: the knowledge that finds a few more miles per hour on the salt is what makes a restored motor start on the first turn and run cool for decades.
