Feltham's Finest

The DB2 is the car that established Aston Martin's reputation as a builder of serious grand touring machinery.

Clothed in Frank Feeley's swept-back bodywork and motivated by W.O. Bentley's superb 2.6-litre twin-overhead-cam inline-six, the DB2 delivered a combination of performance and refinement that put Aston Martin firmly on the map — at Le Mans, at Silverstone, and on the roads of Europe.

This example is one of eighty-two ever built and is numbers-matching. The vehicle arrived requiring comprehensive attention following decades of storage. The aluminium body was stripped, straightened, and repainted.

The twin-cam engine was fully rebuilt, including the twin SU carburettors. The interior was retrimed in correct Connolly hide, the woodwork re-veneered, and all brightwork restored. A thoroughbred Aston, returned to the road.
