Italian poetry, reborn.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce is one of the defining motorcars of the 1950s — a car that fused Bertone's effortless coachwork with an engine of genuine sporting character. Displacing just 1,290 cc with twin Weber carburetors, the Veloce's twin-cam inline-four produced sufficient power to be genuinely competitive at Le Mans, the Mille Miglia, and the Targa Florio. This example arrived with us in need of a complete restoration. The Bertone body was stripped to bare metal, every panel addressed and the distinctive two-tone paintwork faithfully reinstated. The cylinder head was rebuilt with period Veloce specification camshafts, and the twin Webers were rebuilt and calibrated on the bench. The interior was retrimmed in the correct Connolly leather, and all brightwork was replated. A car of rare beauty, brought back to the condition it merited.
