The Ferrari 250 Tour de France is one of the most celebrated racing GTs of the 1950s — its name earned by dominating the grueling Tour de France Automobile in successive years.
With hand-formed aluminum coachwork by Carrozzeria Scaglietti and the renowned 3.0 L Colombo V12 at its heart, the TDF defined an era of Italian sporting elegance.
This example came to our shop for a complete, frame-up restoration. Every mechanical system was stripped, inspected, and rebuilt. The Scaglietti body was taken to bare metal, all panels carefully reconditioned and repainted in period Ferrari rosso.
The power plant was rebuilt and blueprinted in-house, generating peak horsespower and torque in-line with factory specs. A meticulous project — months in the making — returned to the road in full concours condition.
